Your Adorable Puppy
MEALS are 2-3 times per day. Please avoid abruptly changing puppy’s food. Fresh purified water should always be available. NATURAL BALANCE ULTRA--- Your puppy will arrive with a sample bag. Old Mother Hubbard Treats- Hard & crunchy best for keeping teeth clean and teething puppies.
Puppy arrives with a minimum of 4 rounds of deworming. We recommend a follow up fecal and deworming at your next scheduled vet visit. We use 3 different types of dewormer and follow our vet approved deworming schedule. Any dog that plays outside should be dewormed twice yearly for the lifetime of your pet.
1st Round of Puppy Shots- DHPP YOUR PUPPY IS NOT PROTECTED FROM VACCINATIONS UNTIL 14 DAYS AFTER THE LAST ROUND.
Keep your puppy away from germs! Floors of public places harbor all kinds of nasty germs- CARRY YOUR BABY! Your puppy is NOT fully protected from Parvovirus or Distemper until AFTER all 3 rounds are complete for 2 weeks! Usually around rounds are complete by 15 weeks of age.
Avoid places where unvaccinated/ill animals may be- such as Petsmart, Petco, dog parks and anywhere dogs/other animals/wildlife are allowed to potty/poo. Sick/Ill people shouldn’t handle your baby, many germs can transferred to your puppy. Ask your veterinarian about REVOLUTION! Flea & Tick Control and Heart-worm preventative. We use Revolution! Your vet may prescribe something else in your climate/area. Just don’t let your fur baby go unprotected from those nasty pests. Rabies is due between 12-20 weeks of age. If your puppy is to arrive after 12 weeks a rabies vaccine may be required.
A properly trained puppy is a delight. Puppy Classes are a great way for humans to learn how to handle their new puppy. Personal dog trainers are also a great asset to a dog’s life, consider a visit from Karen Minson our recommended dog trainer. Starting off on the right paw is best! Contact Karen at kamar@gvtc.com. Karen is a therapy dog trainer and is a AKC handler. Her years of experience and natural talent are evident. Karen makes visits locally (San Antonio Metro and Hill Country areas) she’s available for phone consultations as well for our far away clients. The puppy kindergarten board and train service is an incredible option that is highly recommended for new puppy owners.
Keep your baby warm and cozy
Bathe your baby in a warm environment and gently blow dry fur
Keep fresh water readily available.
Your puppy will arrive knowing how to drink from a drip bottle as well as a bowl. Bathe your puppy about once every 3-4 weeks. Over bathing can dry out puppy’s skin and coat. Use baby wet-wipes for in between freshen ups.
Trim nails, paw fur and bottom fur often- Brush daily. Brushing is a great bonding experience.

PUPPY SOLD AS A PET ONLY. Pet to be spayed or neutered before 6 months of age. No registration will be provided.
This canine has been properly de-wormed and age appropriate vaccinations have been administered. No guarantees implied against any type of parasite. Canine has been represented honestly and any known defects have been disclosed. In order to fly our veterinarian has examined this pup and found him/her to be good health. This dog has been fed NATURAL BALANCE ULTRA. Changing foods abruptly can result in loose stool. The purchaser agrees to take the responsibility for proper care of said animal and take the dog to his/her Veterinarian for regular health checks and inoculations. All veterinarian bills are the responsibility of the buyer. The purchaser shall keep this animal in conformity with local municipal by-laws, and assume full responsibility for the actions of said animal. We cannot make any guarantee on final color, coat or size of this animal or any guarantee against parasites. Our health guarantee covers congenital defects that prove to be life terminating. If your pup has a congenital defect that your vet diagnoses as fatal our vet must be notified and must agree with the diagnosis. We will replace the pup within 12 months from an equal or better litter of our choice, delivery at the buyer’s expense.
Due to the nature of this sale there will be no refunds. Deposits are non-refundable. Delivery is at the expense of the buyer. Delivery fees are non-refundable. If you find yourself unable to care for this puppy, we will assist a re-homing of the puppy within your area or ours. We are here to help and never want any of our puppies being surrendered to the humane society or any other type of shelter or rescue! If you determine to bring your puppy back, travel will be at the buyers expense. AlmostFamousDog does not permit client arranged shipping, we will work with you and try to facilitate an amicable delivery of your precious puppy. Above all by signing this contract I agree to unconditionally love this puppy no matter how many things he/she chews up, poops on, pees on, sheds on or scratches on. I promise to love this puppy in sickness and health- until death do we part! Payments can be made via Paypal for an additional 3.5%. Final payment must be made 7 days prior to pick up or delivery. Puppies may stay with us for 7 days after they are released for delivery or pick up. If desired pick up/delivery is more than 7 days post release, $24 per day boarding fee will apply. You may fax or email your contract & questionnaire. Payments will not be accepted without a signed contract & questionnaire on file. Your puppy will not be reserved without a signed contract, questionnaire & payment.
We reserve the right to refuse the sale of our puppies for any reason. Texas executed contract.
